The Beginning

Every story has a beginning, a middle and an end- Welcome to mine.

I'm making this blog as my outlet, somewhere to escape reality and do what I love most- writing. Every time I pick up a pen and paper I'm momentarily taken away from the chaos around me. I can make my own worlds, control my own thoughts and when I feel like running away from it all, I can just be someone else for a while. The ability to express ourselves through words and letters and sentences is the single greatest gift we have.

I've been writing ever since I remember, scribbles here and there just, nothing too special. But somewhere along the line I started posting these little bits and pieces of mine on tumblr and gained a lovely little following. 

There's something about a blog like this makes me feel calm. It's a way to organise the thoughts in my head, not on paper or in random posts here and there but on a real website thats all mine. 

If you're coming over from tumblr then thank you, thank you, thank you. I've grown so much as a writer on that website, posting little ramblings here and there, talking to other writers, collaborating on poems, stories, plays, the lot. For me this was just the next logical step. I want to record my writing in an organised, structured way; help control the chaos in my mind.

I'm not sure where this journey will take me but I suppose we're just about to find out.
